I haven't been too active on the LOST boards recently (still sporting my LOST stickers on my KJ, though!!), but I just logged on & saw this thread. I am interested in learning more about this if you can PM me that would be great. In addition, I'm part of another online wheeling group & we have atrip planned to the Mohawk Trail area of MA. If anyone is interested, the link is: http://cave76.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1446 Thanks GR |

Garry and I will be representing KJ's this weekend in MA. I'm bringing the newest LOST member, my 2.5 year old son. We'll bring back pics. Anyone else interested in coming, let us know. I'm leaving LI at 3pm with another local Long Islander for the trip up. |

IMHO: <nitpick> for future reference, we should make new topics whenever we are listing a new run instead of replying to the other upcoming run. This topic now contains information about the run this weekend in western MA as well as the one in CT beginning of July. So when somebody replies and says "I'll be there!" or "can't make it" it's going to be confusing :-/ I'd also like to suggest having the first message in a thread (especially the sticky threads) about a run contain all the information about the run as it is collected, so at first glance of the topic anybody looking can see time, date, location, etc. Whoever starts the topic can just go back and edit the first message, so that way the thread can get as long as it likes but people can still easily find the good stuff </nitpick> sorry to nitpick AND threadjack, I just thought I would throw this out there as I thought of it. Can't wait to hear how that trail is this weekend, we should make another trip out there later in the year (on a weekend I can make it, hehe) |

Or I think you can probably move posts or split topics, that might be a better way to do it. I suppose deleting it and saying "just write it again as a new topic" isn't too difficult either |

pre-ran the trail today: hey, made it back, almost in one piece. lost a tire/wheel and the drivers side fender flare, just popped the plastic rivets on the flare, but the tire and wheel are a loss. spotter issues. my bad, oops sorry there is some heavy overgrowth expect pinstripping. the trail can be done with no problems by a stock truck. some mud, the dirty puddle kind of stuff, not the stick to your truck for eternity stuff, and some water crossings about rear bumper deep, the bottom of the bumper........ relax. |
