Hey, are ya'll camping in tents, trailers, or a nearby motel? If ya'll do a convoy, and I can get off early, I'll wait here in West and look for ya'll. Ya'll can take a pitstop at Kaska's on the North bound side of IH 35. We can meet there. I will e-mail my cell phone # to ya'll if ya'll like. When ya'll find out what time ya'll are getting off work and when ya'll are coming thru, let me know.

A convoy from DFW sounds great. And a pit stop never hurt anyone. I will be camping in a tent, as I don't have a trailer and a motel just isn't as much fun.

But you're welcome to do whatever you like. I'll get y'all my cell so we can coordinate better.

I hope to know by the 2nd when I'll be able to leave.

I officially have Friday, August 26 off, so i can leave whenever. That said, let's a convoy going for those in the DFW area and anyone along I35 can meet up with us. When do y'all think you'd be able to leave/meet?

Lake Travis is only about an hour and a half from me, so if someone can come up with a more specific location I may be able to come hang out for a few hours after work.

We'll be at Pace Bend Park http://www.co.travis.tx.us/tnr/parks/pace_bend.asp. It's $8 daily and open until 9 PM. I'll email you my cell # so you can find us easier in case you can make it. And we're planning a cookout or something for dinner Saturday night. Everyone's welcome for as long or as short as they can make it. Hope to see you there!

So Jason What are we going to eat? I have some homemade sausage I could bring. It is made of pork and deer. No more than 10% deer. We butcher lots of hogs here in West, we are proud of our smoked sausge. It would be nice to cook out. I'm going to try to bring kolaces for breakfast Satuday morning. Is anyone bringing any pivo(beer)?

That sausage sounds good. We could also do some burgers, hot dogs, whatever. We can make it a potluck thing. Is there anything y'all really want?

I'll be leaving before 9 PM, only because that's when the park closes. As long as someone wants to hang out, I'll stick around.
