anyone have the low down on the local trails around austin / houston area? also be interested in making a run over to east texas / longview / tyler area. wasnt sure how active the tx group is, but in medwest we have made many runs to natl parks and offroad parks. the only " offroad park " that i know of is on my 500 acre farm! looking forward to getting back home!! |

Austin Jeep Exclusive is the local Austin Jeep club and they do almost monthly runs on two pieces of property out in Cedar Creek/Bastrop. It's like $15 or 20. Otherwise they run out at Tree's Ranch, The YO Ranch, Long Ranch, Katemcy, and whereever else anyone wants to run. |

I've been to Cedar Creek with Austin Jeep Exclusive and it is a very nice place. Easy to hard trails there. |

In Spring there is the Spring Creek Off road park, they have some good trails and a new rock crawling course they built for WE Rock, I don't know what it cost for the new course but the park is 10 dollars and it is open year round. They also have a mud drag once a month and I believe it is 30 dollars to run. If anybody wants to wheel out there maybe we can go and wheel. |

Heck yeah. Come out to Spring Creek. We can laugh when everyone there makes fun of my Liberty only to watch it kick the cr@p out of all of them. Muahahahahaha True story, street tires and all. You can also go to www.txmud.com and it lists a bunch of trails (some only for ATVs/bikes) with reviews and descriptions. |
