Hey everyone! I am at Fort Sam in San Antonio til Aug. 25th and I was wondering if there are any runs planned or if any of you are in the area. I will be able to leave post starting July 3rd and I have no idea whats good here besides Richard's Last Resort... Oh and Seaworld  I don't have my Jeep here but if there is a run going on I know just the place to rent one  Well hopefully I will talk to some of you soon!

What are you doing down in Ft. Sam... AIT? Im always doing some thing on the week ends. Its really hard to get a run going since everyone lives all over Texas so I usually go with the military jeeper guys. Theres plenty to do in S.A... it just depends on what you like to do. |

You got it, AIT for 68T (veterinary technician). First time in Texas all I know of is the tourist stuff. The riverwalk sounds like a good time but I am sure it will get old after about week 2. I am open to ideas If you ever go with any Fort Sam Jeepers or around this area let me know and I will see if I can get out of here and get some off-roading in!

The river walk is nice but like you said it gets old. When I got back from Iraq I got to drink for free at the Coyote Ugly.... Yeah that was fun. I would be down to go wheeling at Boulder Creek (its not to far from S.A.), but I leave for Ft. Carson in a couple of days. You should check out the Guadalupe River near New Brunsfels. Its a really good time. Its like Marti Gra on the river. You rent tubes and float all the way back to camp while drinking and meeting some really cool people. there is going to be a run with centex offroad militia this saturday @ hidden falls in the marble falls area if anyone is interested in going. post up if your thinking about going ! |
