Mr. Fergusson sir, I have a deal for you. If you can find some 2005 Renegade roof side bars like gringo loco's:

I will trade you my home made roof rack even stevens.

Do they have cross bars on them, I can't tell from the pic?

How much are they new?

No cross bars, and I haven't been able to find the darn things anywhere. Best guess is they cost around 150 - 200 bucks.

Sounds like a hell of a deal. John, if you don't want it, let me know.

Need to rig up something better for my bike. I am putting a sub baox in the rear where I now carry the MB, so on the roof it goes. My attempt ant getting my rack to handle it doesn't work to well, so I figure the Rene rails look pretty good and I can use the Mopar bike carrier.

Chemguy, Is there a part # ?????

Hows the wind noise??

Edwin, I'm fightin hard with the wife to get the rack....She don't like em.
I have to do things her way once in a while.

My mods have not helped the on-road qualities.

I thought it would be cool to mount a rocking chair up there.

I have no clue on the part#. I have not been able to find one on-line, but I may be looking at the wrong sites.

No wind noise really, even when I have the sun roof open.

My mission today:

I'm going shootin, Workout, to the Jeep Dealer for a part#/price on that Renny rail, Grady's BBQ for lunch, and to get a Purple table cloth for my wife's mardi Gras party at school.

If I could just get Walmart to include a gun range & auto parts counter, it would be the ultimate.

Edwin & ChemGuy,

I'm out of the rack bizniz. My wife is actually right on this one. Its only me and her so our gear don't take up that much space.

The guys at the jeep dealer didn't help much. (No Pictures). They must have been in the ARMY !

If they were right, its $169 for the set.

Go for it Edwin....

Thanks for the offer Chemguy.

I'm not against Shiner.

Sounds like the makings of another party.

Who needs lifting?

Yea, I need to take it off and figure a properlay placed 4x4 and a sledge hammer might drive the dent out pretty good unless it is made from heat treated steel. Waiting to see if a guy that shortened his up will e-mail me with the steps to do so, but I don't think he posts anymore.
