Well...I was thinking a 9-930 AM meeting would be good. Keep people that are traveling a good distance (like you) from getting up unreasonably early (7AM departure for you, depending on where you are in Columbus...I can make it from Cincy to Marion in around an hour and 45 minutes if I drive like gas is free) but still get to Haspin early enough to have a good day of getting yanked out of the muck and get our $15 a head worth

If there's at least two other rigs, I'm not too scared to get stuck, especially now that I have a locker and MTs. I just know that Moose and I lost an hour or so because of our open diffs and ATs in the summer months!

I hope you are right about the ATV races keeping the woods less crowded. If they stay up by the dirt tracks, we should have a good time on the trails, but if they're charging around in the woods, then we may have a tough go at it.

ALSO, I'll still be able to lend a hand with the front hitch install this Sunday.

OH, one other thing. I live just north of Seven Mile (I use Dayton/Middletown as a global reference) and am only 40 miles from Haspin as it is. I'd rather just meet you all at the park. Swampthing is only 10 mins from my house so if he'd like to meet up locally and caravan over, I'm okay with that too (keep him from backtracking by meeting up at the IHOP).

That would be fine with me and i would be glad to be the caboose of the train because im sure you all know i only get about 10city and 14-20highway depending on the flow of the wind..

but i heard haspin is pretty crazy so i don't want to drive into a mud hole and plumet the the earths core.. so hopefully it would be a nice sunny day and the trails wont be to muddy except for the mud holes im looking to have a good time trail riding and getting some pics of all of us and meetings everyone! but i do have straps and what not and im sure i will get stuck a time or two.. darn thornturds..

alright let me know the final plan and who all is meeting at ihop, i don't mind back tracking a little bit it will be nice to drive up witha handful of members anyway.

I hate to be the one to say it here but the above is not a good idea and this is not doing anything to promote good 4 wheeling practices. Its unsafe , could tear something up on someones vehicle and just not approved anywhere you go 4 wheeling. It would not look good at all to see a lot of KJs sitting around with LOST stickers on them and one being towed out by the rear axle or something. Not getting on anyones case but if you want to go 4 wheel and be safe then have the proper equipment or ride with someone else. Some thing can be overlooked but tow attachment points can not.

Make sure they are safe. I've done my share of stupid things, but with these items, they can become a projectile aimed right at the guy doing you a favor. Sorry if this seems overly nanny-ish, it's just in case I'm the one giving you a strap

in the B/S/T forum (go to the main forum, and scroll all the way down) there are Grape has a reasonably priced pair of front hooks, I think. the KJ isn't as conducive to aftermarket hooks as TJs and YJs and XJ's are...I'd get the right hooks.

ive seen them done on here with hitch receivers and d rings up to 13000lbs to not bad for around 50 - 70 bucks vs 120 plus honestly i like the look better

Thanks for the consideration on the meeting time but I'm use to getting up around 6am every day for work so if you all wanted to make it a little earlier to ihop that's fine. Otherwise meeting at 9am at ihop sounds great.
