I agree. Would be cool to 4-wheel with the group. For a good experience you really need to four-wheel similar vehicle. Not necessarily only Jeeps, but vehicles of similar capability and age. Taking a KJ out with a group that has old rusted, dented, trucks running on 35+" tires does not work well. You are always holding up the group because you are driving so slow and careful. Tthe KJ is your DD and you can't afford to break it each time you go wheeling like a lot of folks with dedicated wheeling only rigs do.

x2. When we went to Land Between the Lakes, the guys who led us were awesome, but they were just doing much more hardcore stuff than I was comfortable to try in my Liberty. That's not to knock them at all, but what Eddo says holds true, you have to try to stick with folks who wheel the same way you do or you may be led into an area you don't belong in with your rig.

So just looking at the calender, are more people looking at May 12 (early in the month) or May 26 (later in the month) for another Livingston (maybe slade) run? Just want to clear my calender for the correct weekend....

I'm definitely out. The rest of my May is spoken for. Mother's Day cookout, school project, trip to Grandma's house, Memorial Day, home improvement projects, etc.

I look forward to doing something in June, July, and August though.
