I say no Ohio LOST.

-Almost every meet I've been to had at least one person that was not from Ohio, and most of those meets happened in Kentucky! Making an Ohio-only chapter would just reduce participation in my opinion.

-I totally agree with encouraging more non-wheeling participation. One thing that I think would be really cool would be to set up an online calendar that everyone can see and everyone (maybe?) can edit. Then we can all easily see when LOST Midwest events are taking place in the near future. Shows, cruise-ins, etc., even just meet and greet would be really great.

-Increase participation with Mid-Atlantic LOST. I know for us easterners, some locations in PA are waaaaaayyyyy closer then DBNF or Badlands. This may just mean that I need to watch that board more carefully. We should also be sure to post links to our events out in the main Meet Planning (or whatever its called thread) and post our reports in the Trip Reports thread.

-Finally, I think it would be nice to have a little bit more organization, but on the other hand, I'm not quite sure what it would accomplish. Since we dont have dues or anything, theres not really much to manage. And I dont think that dues should be started. Would be nice to establish a set of safety guidelines, etc. for trail rides for everyone to review before heading out there!

Jon you are going in the same direction as I am in a way. Being just OHIO LOST would not accomplish anything, just saying regionlize it more than what it is somewhat, all would and are welcome. Just like to see a little more happening /sharing whats going on or something. For instance the Colorado group just met for a dinner, no wheeling just a meal and sitting around telling LIEs as Troy and Marty were there (just joking you guys) Thats what I mean by regionlize , and it is to a degree. Yes I think a trail list of do's and don'ts plus a waiver would be good and easy to do. I dont want to get sued due to telling someone to do one thing they do something else and something happens. Just something that says you do this at your own risk!

But then again I dont know for sure so I will shut up
I am almost ready to jump ship after driving around in an 08 Tacoma double cab PreRunner for a few days I am almost getting ready to buy one of those anyways, going to be hard to turn the keys over to my nephew in a few weeks! All black, lockers, 265-75X16 BFGs darn he should of never had me spec it out and buy it for him!
