on a serious note with the rain/snow/melt/rain the rivers are all nearing flood levels where I'm at. Northern indiana seems to get snow (lake effect?) when we get rain so the rivers in the middle of the state should be high (logic make sense there?) Perhaps it would be wise to stay out of the culvert/stream areas?

We'll have to see.... I really like that creek bed... And I want to go Over that one big rock in the creek, instead of around.... Now that I have Rock Rails...

Boys, I'd love to go, but I'm not going to make it this weekend. I'm off on a business trip on Sunday, so I have to get things in order before I leave.

Not sure I'm going to get another chance to wheel with you until May, I'm off to Moab the third week of April.

Enjoy guys

What time is the plan to meet up Saturday morning. We have about a 4 hour trip. Need to plan on when to hit the road. If you are going to use channel 24 I will have it on that when we get there.

Ahh, 26 it is...I figured we would leave around 5 to try and get there around 9 when they open. Got the BDS lift and Buckshot's on yesterday...I'm pretty jazzed to put it through it's paces.

its $20 for you and the vehicle and then + $5 for each passenger

(if you're there for 2 days you can get a 2 day pass for $30 )

You'll see us........

There is usually a line waiting to get into the park @ 9:00 AM

I would like to set up camp and get all the food etc out the the jeep before we hit the trails.....
So I'll probably be in the back of the camping area Along the wood fence...

Come on out. Look forward to meetin' ya'. Seems we didn't really nail down a meet time (unless i missed somethin?). Judging by posted travel times it looks like most are planning on arriving about 9:00. We could plan on organizing a bit (air down, etc.) in the lower lot and hit the trails about 9:30. Anyone arriving later just give a push on channel 26 so we can hook up (i personally don't have CB yet). Look forward to seeing you all there.

ROB, prayers for you & your family. Sorry to hear about that. Take care & we'll catch ya' on a later run.

I don't get too crazy with it just because it IS stock... and my daily driver at that. I do have a rear tow point - nothing in front though. Bearing all that in mind, I'll likely err on the side of caution. I do want to make it home.

For someone who has never been to Badlands before, where are we meeting up at - assuming somewhere within the park? Does anyone have a good landmark for me... or just look for all the modified Libby's?

I know man...been in your shoes before. You definitley have to take extra precautions, but take it slow and easy and listen to your spotters and you will do fine. You will have a REALLY good time, even in a stocker...trust me. Everyone looks after one another...

There's a long lane at the entrance of the park, the main building to your right when you pull in. Go in, sign in, pay, get your flag and then follow the drive down in the park and there's a big parking lot to your right at the bottom of the hill. By then you'll see a bunch of KJs sitting there...that'll be us.

Everyone drive safe...can't wait to see everyone and meet all the new faces. See ya'll bright and early in the morn.

-Evan
