Hi all,

Planning on going to the Manistee County area, can anybody recommend and fun trails/seasonal roads?

Silver Lk. is fun, but I'm looking for areas in Mansitee, Benzie, or Wexford counties. I know they are out there, I'll probably just have to go exploring..

Here is a link to the Michigan DNR website on OVRing. They have trail maps that can be downloaded.

When are you headed up there buccilli15? I'll be at Silver Lake on the 11-14 I believe. Don't think I'll be on the dunes the whole time but I'll at least visit them once or twice while I'm there.

I'm heading to Manistee area this weekend, but plan on making multiple trips to the area throughout the summer.

I remember about 5 years back going on some trails near Bretheren (Kinda between Cadillac and Manistee) in my friend's CJ. From what I remember, we were out there for 2 full days and never rode the same trail (Maybe seasonal roads?)....The trails seemed to be endless....Anyways, I haven't talked to my "friend" in a year or so, so getting directions is out of the question..However, I plan on going to the area this weekend and looking around. Meduncan, If I find these trails, maybe we can plan on meeting around the 11-14? They are probably 1.5 hrs north of Silver Lk...I'll keep you posted of my findings :D

Had a blast this past weekend! There are miles upon miles of seasonal roads, nothing too hardcore, but beautiful scenery.
The best wheelin' I found were in the powerlines! I'll post pics later this week. :D
