Note: This is really open to anyone willing to drive to the Elgin area. Unfortunately there won't be any trail riding, but we'll be grilling and showing off the rigs. Might be cool to do a Jeep cruise up and down Randall Rd too. Rookies is supposed to have a cruise night 5-9 that day, I have to verify though. Having a line of lifted Liberties run through the lot would be a sight to see.

Anyway you can find the location on mapquest so we can reference driving distance? I'd be all for going but I'll have to see how money is at the time.

Is it too late to join in??? I've been watching and waiting to make sure we could make the BBQ. We were supposed to leave for vacation on Saturday, but looks more like Monday/Tuesday (Hubby's WJ is in the shop). We'll bring some watermelon!

I was at true value the other day tryin to figure that out, I'm just not going to use spacers.

Expect it to be noisy then. Mine shocks creaked and rattled a LOT until I added the washers. Since then, it's been nice and quiet.

Just sayin'...

OK, then what can I pick up to use for the spacers? Diameter? Thickness? Any suggestions on something I can p/u today to put in tomorrow?
I'm getting some rub from my tires.

The clevis lift uses 2" conduit nuts for spacer and need to be notched with a file. Most people use 2-3 per side. The noise that my wife's jeep was making was due to loose fitting Rancho's in the rear, fixed by adding 2 washers per side. We have not done a clevis lift on her Jeep yet.
