On a previous post there was mention of a $500.00 prize for any street legal Jeep that could make it through.

I'll just watch, I'm not partial to mud.

500 is not enough for mud bogging for me anymore, back 30 years ago I would went regardless, I have learned from my mistakes though!!! :wink:

im hopping in the shower right now and am gonna head out there. i couldnt go yesterday(saturday) because i was really busy, and..... hungover :lol:

i might just go to watch, i dunno how much itll be for one day. but i figured i would show up, meet some new people and see what its like, maybe get a chance to really test out my locker and new tires

Turned out to be a bad day for me off the get go. Got up not feeling well, but trudged on. Got there, took out my camera and the battery was dead in it , so no pics for the day......
On the first loop we encountered deep water caused by some ambitious dam builders......Beavers :!:

Made it through alright, but 2 minutes later my battery light lit up and stayed on for the rest of the loop. Parked it, raised the hood and just let it sit to dry out. Rode the next loop with Jack in his Zuki, not much for comfort on the trail. :lol:

Got back, fired up the Libby and the battery light was off, great! Go back out and encouter a short steep grade and half way up the Libby doesn't want to move, wheels wern't spinning, just no power at all for about 15-20 seconds while pressing on the gas pedal in 4 low.
Went back to the campground and socialized for awhile and went home. My day sucked, but everyone else had a great time.

wish i could have gone to this one! been itching to get back there since the first time in may, but i'm still a little bit out of commission. my skid row tranny plate arrived today though, so i think thats just about the last piece of the puzzle!
