| Post subject: | Drummond Island This Summer? |
I'm thinking about making a trip up there either in August or September. Anyone interested? Planning on camping up and back as well as on the island so it should be cheap, just fuel and food and camping fees. I think I need an OHV sticker as well. http://www.drummondislandchamber.com/ Its about 9 hours up and back from Chicago so its not just a weekend trip. I'm thinking leave Wednesday after work, take Thursday and Friday vacation, come home Sunday. Camp somewhere in Wisconsin on Wed night, Tent at different spots each night on Drummond Island, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, Get up Early on Sunday and head home. |

If you go up there this summer. You got to get breakfast @ the Bear Track Inn, I've heard they have the best french toast. and check out Turtle Ridge awesome place. |

I am heading up there in June for the Jeep Jamboree so I doubt I'll be able to make a return trip later in the summer, but I'll keep it in mind. |
