Gary will probably be going. He's the guy that just arrived from Iceland.
He'll be online Thursday (gets his online service connected then).

Okay, I'm still alive. So we are meeting at the actual trail head at 9:00? Yikes...looks like a 2 hour drive so I'll be getting up at 6:00...might be a last minute call on this one.

Yeah, that kinda sucks for the Castle Rock guys. Everyone coming through the Springs to get there can meet at my place, and we can caravan out of here around 7:30. We will hit the McDonalds in Woodland Park about 8:00 to meet up with an XJ buddy of mine, and we can grab breakfast to go there and get gas/ice if we need to, then hit the road, and be at the trail between 9 and 9:30.

I'll try to meet you guys at the trail head. If I'm not there, call me on my cell.

I may not get up in time. Shoulder issues and drugs to help sleep away the pain.

Sorry, I am going to have to pass on this one guys. I am still playing catch-up on a bunch of stuff since getting back from Ouray last week.

The storm and hail last night really made a mess of my yard and I will probably spend most of the day raking it up. I had no power here for several hours and just got internet access back!

Some sleep would be nice too!! :(

Anyway, I am looking forward to reading your trail reports and a meeting recap!!

I'm not running any trails until I get Skink Sliders from Marty, and I have yet to let the dealer look at my 4x4 problem :( Sorry guys, wish I could make it, but if all goes well I will be back on the trail in less than a month!

Sorry, shoulder/upper back was hurting too much through the night. I did not get much sleep. Too tired this morning. I am not one that likes taking meds so I keep them to a minimum but this is ruining my sleep. I didn't want to drug up to drive that far.

Well, we just got back. It's about 50 miles from my place, and takes about 1.5 hours to get there. It's a little further that Eagle Rock from my place, but the road is nice and paved the whole way. Fun little trail. Don't know what happened to everyone, but only Pete, my XJ buddy, and I showed up. Those camping at the trail head said we were the first ones to hit the trail, so I guess no one showed up before us. I'll post pictures later this evening.
