I can't commit to any open seats right now because I may have 0 open seats, 2 open seats, or possibly a single back seat open. It all depends on how much of the family is going to attend.

Alienware? Dang! That is a beast of a gamer PC. Should fetch a nice dollar unless it is an old model.

I had to beg and plead to get you to buy a CB radio, and you're gonna splurge on a MAC????!?!?!?!?!?!? I've got a 2Gb card you can use when we go out. Mine holds 800 shots at superfine, 16:9 ratio; battery charge only shoots 200, need to get another. If we take 1600 shots together, that ought to do  And with Sarah's video... we're golden! LOL Better make sure the LOST Rockies site has a LOT of server space!!!

Not to mention Sarah's video camera is High Definition! HD footage makes for some nice DVD’s.

I've got a Canon EOS Rebel XTi but I am driving so I don't get as many shots as those that ride along.

I'm not a bully! Who finally realized they NEEDED a CB not only to communicate, but feel part of the group?!?!?!!? HEHEHEHEH  Just a little psychology.

TJ, I shoot in 3072 x 1728 which is 16:9 aspect ratio. I also leave it set to Super Fine which is the highest quality setting. Once you choose the pics you like (which we can do on-site with my laptop), we can crop them and resize them as needed. I'll bring a CD to burn them to so you can have them right away.

Just do them in RAW so you can really edit them. Of course, you will only be able to do a few pics overall.

Hey, are we planning to EAT as a L.O.S.T. ROCKIES family before or after the trail run? Are we going to meet at a certain location? Sarah and I are deciding whether to RV or tent camp on this trip. We’d like to find a campground close to our meeting place and make reservations is why I’m asking. Any ideas being tossed around?

AWESOME. Denise says we'd better go camping AT LEAST twice more before the end of summer. This coming weekend is one. If you guys wanna camp out, we'd be down for that. Then maybe we could do the after trail meal in Breckenridge?! That would all be FUN!

Not sure if there is a 'campground' around the trailhead, but we could just camp out at the trailhead.

Here's the trail damage page for a good little read and some pictures of this trail: http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=40

I am not familiar enough with the area to know if there are any camping spots near by. Not sure if you wanted to bring the trailer and stay where you did last time and meet at my place in the morning. We will take out of here about 0700 (which means 0730 for those that don't know my family), go highway 24 out the same direction we went for China Wall, all the way to Hartsell (gas is atleast $.20 more here), then north on hwy 9, through Fairplay, and then continue north on 9 until we pass Road 8, Road 6, and the first Road 4, turn left on second road 4. Denver guys could take 285 and meet us in Fairplay, and we can caravan from there, which would probably be easiest, and we could fill up with gas and what not in Fairplay. So, Springs area guys, if you are close to my place, meet at my place by 0700. Pete and Troy and whoever else not that close, meet at the McD's in Woodland park by 0800, plan to meet Denver guys in Fairplay around 0930, get to the trail by 1015-1030. The trail isn't long, but takes a little time. Plan some extra time for the trail as it will be a Saturday, and probably have some traffic, and may get congested or have to deal with people with broken rigs in the way. I would like to say we could be off the trail by 1600 if all goes well, maybe earlier. For dinner, we could go back to Fairplay. There isn't much there looking on line, but there is a Pizza Hut, which would be about as good as it would get for a large group.

Check it out (not much of a page)...

http://www.southparksaloon.com/

In Alma, just down the road from the trail head, before Fairplay. Might need a reservation though. Could be good times, a little different.[/url]

We’d love to tent camp with you guys at the trail head, but there is no way, even with the time change, to drive from here to there before DARK. We both have meetings until 4:00 PM that day……………so this trip is going to be balls to the wall. It looks like we’ll be camping in the Springs area or on Marty’s front lawn. I heard campsites are pretty cheap at the Rock Lizard Campgrounds.

You've got the `06 rear seats so you can snooze in the back comfortably. I have to toss a bunch of stuff in the rear to level it out to sleep somewhat comfy.
