Dave and Gary, I'll bring your diff covers if you want me to so you can paint and install them whenever you are ready.

I should be good to go. Dave do you want to get together and follow each other as I have no idea where I am going?

Marty Sounds good about bringing the diff cover down there. I have to work that night but I will be there for a while. Thanks

Gary, Sounds like a plan. Since we need to be at IHOP by 8am, we'll need to leave at 7am. That'll give us a few minutes in case traffic does get bad. I never take 470 so I can meet you on the Lincoln off-ramp of I-25 (next intersection (ramp) after you get on 25 from 470). or if you feel like driving this way, stop at my place. I always take 225 to 25.

Dave, sounds good. I will probably meet you at your place. It will be just as easy and save me a few bucks in tolls anyway. See you then.

Now if I just had some AMSOIL.........Actually, I need to get the cover painted before I install it. Still pondering the Galvanizing. Maybe just hammertone it. If I had a red, white, or blue KJ, colors would be more open. Light Khaki limits how "colorful" you can go.

Have a blast guys. I've been out on the road for two weeks. My wife would kill me if I left to go work on KJs tomorrow. Especially since I'm leaving again next Sunday for another week. January through March is my busiest travel schedule of the year. Can't wait to hit the trails in a month or so though!

OK, Auto hobby on USAFA is a go, all the snow has melted, we didn't get much anyway.

So I will see you all at IHOP at 0800.

Troy, we might be able to do the alignment at USAFA, but it all depends on how busy they are tomorrow when we finish as they will only have 3 techs working tomorrow. If we do it will cost $35.

It looks like I am not going to be able to make it after all. my wife has gotten sick and I need to go home and take care of my son so my wife can get some rest. I am going to go by Dave's house and let hime know.

Marty if you want tio just hold on to the diff cover until I come down there for the front bumper test fit. I am really bummed I can't make it. I will be off of nights an Mar 1st and that will help. Hopefully we will be having a run soon.

Thanks for all that showed up,hope everyone learned a little more about the KJ.Stupid Firestone messed up my alignment and now it pulls extreme left(it drove strait going to firestone,go figure) so I got to go back next weekend to have them fix it  .Well at least the "clunck" I had did finally go away after hitting a really big pothole  (go figure).

Call them tomorrow to make sure they know it is already a problem that they caused.

Thanks for letting us watch/assist. It helped me learn a lot more about the front suspension and made me want to paint my LCA's if I ever get a chance.

Gary, I have your Diff Cover. Let me know how you want to pick it up. I can bring it to work. I will keep it in the back of my Jeep.

Sorry I missed out on meeting everyone. I will be making it soon.

Yep good time. Too bad firestone screwed it up. Can you get another firestone to fix it? This is the second time I have heard of a problem with that one just off academy by briargate mall. The other guy had a lifted F-150. I would have said something, but that was only one person. Sorry :(
