Boulder, CO

This is next to a gas station, Moe's Bagels and King Soopers. Here's a map if you need it.

If you are coming from the CoSprings, see where they are meeting to convoy up to Boulder.

If you live in Aurora, stop by my place and we can convoy up. My address info is a just a few posts from this one.

If you live north of Boulder, just meet us there at the Starbucks in Boulder.

So far, it looks like around 13 people going. I know a couple want to ride along. That is great!

If it's not too late, (and if you don't mind having another relative newbie along) count me in! I've been lurking on this forum for quite a while now, but have never posted, let alone gone wheeling with any of you folks. But after receiving the email for this run I finally figured out that maybe this is the perfect chance to finally de-lurk, say "hi!", and maybe go wheeling with a group for once!

I will be coming up from Superior (just down the road from Boulder), in my dark green 2006 Renegade. I've had the Libby since September and have done a modest number of trails so far, mostly in and around the Boulder foothills. For the most part I would have to say I'm still a newbie at this. So I am looking forward to seeing what I can learn from my fellow KJ enthusiasts!

See you at Starbucks tomorrow morning at 9:00 then?

Jeff

Of course you're welcome to come (no such thing as too late)! And this is a good trail for "newbies." See you tomorrow at 9:00.

Hey Co Springs guys...would somebody mind giving me a shout on the CB when you come through? Any estimate when you'll be coming through my neck of the woods? I'd like to hook up with you guys and caravan up the rest of the way.

You can come to my place and either ride along from there or follow us up to Boulder, park at Starbucks, and ride along. That gives you more options when we finish the trail instead of waiting to get all the way back to Aurora. By the way, I work on Buckley.

This sounds like we will have a great turn out. Awesome!

For those that are new, join us anyways. We will spot for you to do the best we an so you don't hurt your KJ on the first trail. I am not 100% positive that it is stocker capable. The second trail will definitely require mods (armor/rails/lift). If you don't want to risk your KJ, just ride along with someone. We are all more than happy to have someone along and help you learn if you are inexperienced. We were there once also.
