Website/Graphics help

Any of you local guys know anything about making advertising banners? I need a banner for my business that is 480x60 and less than 100KB so I can advertise on all the forums I frequent. I suck at this computer stuff. I still used graph paper and a pencil for all my product designs because I can't figure out CAD programs. My website is built entirely by me to give an idea how bad my computer skills are. If you can help, I have a banner that I made myself, that I would like the new one to look very close, but a much better quality version. Shoot me an email and I could send it to show what I want, and we can work out the price details.
