There is a guy in Firestone, CO that works at a shop, and has four KJ grills that are going in the trash. Can anyone swing by and pick those up for me? Ted uses those to make clocks for the LOST Rockies raffle prizes, and this would be a great jump start into next years raffle, and would save out of pocket money for Ted and for the club since they are freebies. Anyone in the Denver/Boulder area care to take an hour out of there day to drive up and pick those up real soon?

PLEASE

Or can we find out if they would ship them to us?

He doesn't want to ship. Just someone to come pick them up out of the back of the shop and get them out of the way.

Get me an address. I think John is closer but not sure of his status. Anyone in Boulder or Longmonet available to run over there and get those?

We could do a relay. I could meet you somewhere and get them from you and move them down to Marty or someone in Castle Rock, and they could go down to the Springs. That way, everyone isn't spending all their gas money.

Or somebody could just keep em until our next run and then hand em off to Marty.

That wouldn't be an option for me. I can barely move in my garage with the rear bumper and five stock tires/wheels sitting in there and all of my other stuff, as it is.

Sounds like it's time for a bigger garage  .

OK, the guys name is Steve. Give him a call and work out a pickup time for Monday if possible.

318 Buchanan Ave, Firestone, CO 80520

303 833 1431

I'm going to be in the Denver area this coming Friday morning, so I can swing by the house/work of whoever has ahold of them at that time. It will be fairly early Friday, say around 8 am before I can pick them up. So, Dave, if you can get them from RkyMtnKJ sometime this week if he is the one that picks them up from Steve, then I can get those from you on Friday.

Keep us updated who can pick them up and where they are by Friday.

Thanks
Marty

I got some space to hold them till friday.

I can run up to boulder to pick them up but all the way up to Firestone I'd rather not do. If someone can run them down to Boulder or Denver I can pick up from there and hang on to them.

I was up in Denver today, so I went ahead and picked them up. He only had two left, but they were in great shape. He said his buddy works at the jeep dealership, and when they swap for chrome grills, they just get thrown in a pile, so he said he would keep us in mind if he got anymore.

Marty,

If your buddy calls you again I would like to get one of those grilles to fit my 2005. Color does not matter as I would end up painting it to match after some mods.

I have some experimenting I want to do and need an extra grille that I could modify/cut. I would have gone and got those myself but I am so busy lately that all my free time is taken up.
