Purchased my Hi-lift for under $30.00. It is nice to have someone on the inside.

Patience my friends. Some of us just got home. This after getting up at 4:30 to make the three hour trek. I for one am tiered and hitting the rack. But for now, here is a little teaser.

Look for a write up tomorrow. With the full complement of photo’s of course.

We're baaaaack! Had a great time today. A few of those trails looked more like mud creeks to me.... Randy and Jason did a great job leading us through, wash outs and all! With the exception of a broken leaf spring on the Bronco and a couple of extra pinstripes on the KJ, we made it through just fine. Lots of mud and rocks!

priell3 gave us a bit of excitement when he went the wrong direction and ended up part of the way up a huge hill. In an attempt to back down the hill, he got himself sideways, stuck and just about as far off camber as a KJ can go without rolling.

There was much harrumphing (a la blazing saddles) and Mike sat very still while a plan was devised. It involved the use several straps, a come-along, a couple of deceptively sturdy little trees and more than a little muscle... short story long, thankfully he got himself turned around and made it to the bottom of the hill in one, non-rolled, piece. :D

Thanks to all my patient spotters, thanks to Joe Jeeper for the door prizes and to thanks to everyone else for a great day! Let's do it again sometime!

oh yeah, almost forgot... Rock Rails by Dave really work!

Sharon

A lot further than your brain can deal with.I'd say 5 degrees more than the reflex that makes you scream.

It was great riding with the L.O.S.T. M.A. group again. I'll let Jason give the trail report, but I'll fill in some of the blanks. While the group was working their way around the lake, David and Kimberly, the two Greeks, and I climbed one of the hills out of the play area. This was David's first time up that hill with his new mods, and my first time with both ends locked up. Kinda "Ho Hum" for both I belive. The next blank would be trail 47 which is marked as Rocky Meadow a blue 1 on the map. David and Kimberly, our Greek friends, and I broke off from the group to hit this trail. This trail has been re-cut and I would have to rate it a little higher. Wanna to comment on that, David? When I exited this trail I came upon the rest of the group and one KJ taking a "strange" line on the hill climb. I drove up to his location, but couldn't get around him to strap up. By the time I found a way around he was down at the bottom safe and sound. Comforted by this conclusion I promptly hit my top on a tree, pulling it away from the top of the windshield on one side... duct tape time.
As usual great ride, great people! I hope we didn't turn off any of the newbies to wheelin.

Randy

I just got home from work. Unfortunately I have to get the store before they close at 8. But I promise I'll get something up before bed time.
