Thank you Mike!

Also on July 7th I will be down at Camp Jeep, learning the trails since...I have been lucky enough to make the Trail Guide list. So I may be able to give a sneak preview of some of the trails.

I can't wait to see everyone. Hey depending on what trails I get to guide (or sit on being a winch point) I will let you know and maybe you can change the trails at the Liberty tent at the Camp.

Chris I got the same dinner time, and I think we got cheated out of all the round tables!

Al

Al! I would love you forever for that....

I absolutely love MUD and I absolutely hate tight turns.... and it's always a game of russian roulette when the only information they can give is.. "Uhh.. well.. you see... D is harder than E... and C is harder than D... and... well.. you of course see where I'm going with this, no?"

I think that'd be great. Not sure how to find a good spot to do so though. We kinda had a little dinner get together last year in Wisconsin.

I just got my registration packet today. I agree on the get together. I have never been down to that neck of the woods. Anyone know of a good place?

So who is on what trails and when? I'm doing trail L at 7:00 Friday, K at 10:00 am Sat. and Owner Playground at 2:15 Friday.

I talked to SunDvl, who has been to a previous Camp Jeep at Oak Ridge. Apparently there is only one restaurant in the vicinity of Camp and it gets packed quick (other than fast food restaurants.

Our other choices are in Charlottesville or Lynchburg. The hotel KJ-BOL and I are staying at is in Lynchburg. where is everyone else staying?

I live in Lynchburg, so I will be going home after the events. What time does everything wrap-up each day? This is my first Camp Jeep event. We could all crash land at my house one evening for a cool dip in the pool...enjoy some cold drinks, and talk about the days events and our Jeeps! How about Friday night? since Thursday there is a concert and Saturday is the concert and dinner. Anyone interested? If there is interest I can post the directions.

Tracy

We're staying at Wintergreen, so the Lynchburg area would work for us. Seems like there are a few restaurants in Amherst (not quite midway between Wintergreen and Lynchburg), too. Thanks for the invite, Tracy! Sounds like it would be a nice way to wind down for the day. You can count us in.

Can't wait - only 20 days left!

Got my trail assignment, trail H on Saturday, all day. To all that has been there before, it was trail G with the "Z" pit in it! So I am officially a trail guide (oops the first time I typed that it said tail guide, yepper that me always guiding myself towards a nice piece of tail!......lobster, what were you guys thinking!!!! Pigs! ). Trail H will also, for the first time in Va., will have a KJ as one of the guide rigs, driven by a very capable young lady named Vicki!.

The harder trails are a-c and there was some carnage today.

I can't tell you about the other trails, since I only got one assignment and that is all we did today, and Thursday and Friday I will be put where ever they need me.

They are expecting 6000 jeeps and roughly 10K people at Camp Jeep this year. also the Patriot will be allowed out on the trails this year, as long as it has the freedom II package (low range and tow hooks).

See you all down there. I think the place I am staying in is the Red Carpet Inn.

Al

I am on Trail F at 10 am on Friday and Trail C at 10 am on Saturday. I have the owners playground at 11:15 Thursday and at 3pm Thursday the Engineering Roundtable. Offer is still open to come to the house Friday about 7pm and take a dip in the pool and bring something cold to drink!

Follow 29 South to the Lynchburg exit, 460 West, go about 2 miles, take the Campbell Ave exit, turn left at exit stop sign, at 4th stop light turn Right onto Seabury Ave. , go two blocks and turn left onto Herbert Street (dead end street) I am first BRICK house on your right. Park in the field just before my house, you will see the Red Libby I am sure! Hope to see you there!

Problem most likely I will need to shower first...this way I don't leave an oil slick! YUCK "TMI"

I should have my son along (19, future Marine, so hide your young women).

14 days 'til Camp!!!

swtwomyn - I think we're also scheduled for a round table on Thursday @ 3, too. Cool!

Any other ideas on getting the group together? If I knew the area, I'd figure something out.

Al - thanks, too for the trail rundown. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!
