Hey XR, I've got a strap with your name on it. JK Somebody will be able to pull you out if you get stuck in the mud. You should still come, we haven't seen your smiling face in ages.

XR sorry you are not going to make it. We will save you a space on the next run. Chris we will see you there. I have you added to the ole list.

As for the camera. Is already packed. I think I'll need a ultra wide 12mm lens for the group shot  Maybe even a fisheye, that might do the trick.

hmm, with all this rain, i haven't gotten a recovery strap yet, but i guess there should be a few around, how muddy do the trails get that we are going on? Does anyone have an extra one that they want to sell that is going? I've checked my local stores and they don't stock any straps, just chains.

Not everyone needs to carry a strap, as long as someone is carrying one and we'll have several in the group.
Mud shouldn't be a major problem, just enough to make it interesting like turn all of our KJs the same color.

I will not be making this run. Went to dealer to have new struts installed and the lower ball joint recall done. The struts are not the problem,, the struts are fine. So I have a brand new set of Rancho RSX 17505 still in the boxes,, direct replacements for the stock struts. If any one wants them let me know. The problem with my front end:

Both upper control arms with upper ball joints, $403.92 parts plus $246.46 to install.

Both lower ball joints covered under recall, no charge.

Both inner tie rod ends from Napa, $144.00 parts plus $164.30 to install.

Front end alignment $59.95

With taxes they want $1050.82

Told me not to be taking it on any long trips till I have it fixed.

So I guess it's time to pick up Al's upper A-arms and ball joints,, will try and do the work myself,,, anyone want to supervise/help???

Im coming up from Quakertown, PA and I have never been to that area before, could someone PM me their name and phone number that is going? If I get L.O.S.T. somewhere it would be nice to have someone to give a call. And are we still meeting up at the Exon on 924 at about 8:00?

Joe Jeeper is coming from Quakertown also, maybe you can meet him at the Quakertown entrance to the turnpike and ride up together. I'll be coming up the turnpike also and may run into you along the way.

We are meeting at the Exxon around 8:00 for fuel, food, etc., then proceeding in a group to the park.

Well I won't be making this trip, but tomorrow won't be a total waste I will be swinging by Tractor Supply and picking up a Hi-Lift for $35. I couldn't pass on the offer.

Darn that's cheap,
I was just there Thursday and didn't see them but then again I was bee lining it for the D-hooks and tow straps.
Guess I'll have to go back up there. What a great store that is. Hopefully in a little while it won't be so out of the way from where we live now Sharon and I are looking at a house just down the road from one here.
