| Post subject: | GWNF Want to run again but when |
I really enjoyed GWNF and I think everyone else did from the comments. So when will the next run be? Does anyone have a time that is best for them? I would like to do it before it gets cold so that we can enjoy some time on top of the mountain, and anyone that is going to be camping like myself does not have to freeze. It would be a great location for the meet & greet that Mike had suggested since it is trails that did not need 4wd. Plus after the ride in Paragon yesterday a drive in the country would be great. If someone knows of another Park or place that does not cost to ride and we could go at our own pace (even the 4x2s) then this would be the time to post it. I would like to see a huge M.A. turnout. I enjoy riding with the regulars but that leaves out the ones that can’t wheel but would like to do more than a car show. Just some thoughts on my lunch hour. Chris |

I don't know about when MA plans on going to GWNF again, but my local Jeep club is planning a ride the weekend of Sept 9-11th. Check it out. http://www.delawareja.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=4227 I will be there as well as one or two other KJ's and various TJs, CJs, YJs and XJs. Last ride we had was awesome and somewhat challenging as we ran some new trails, nothing that a stock KJ with skids and some bravado couldnt conquer. Brian |

Yes, from feedback we got from everyone, including David and I, GWNF was a hit and we will go back again. We just have to get a plan in motion which David has already started the ball rolling on. We`ll be hashing it out shortly I`m sure. It was definately fun. Mike |

Brian, can a couple of us "Loster's" tag along with you on that run? I would like to do some wheeling in Sept. and I need to check out some more trails down there so we can do some different stuff the next time LOST runs to GWNF. Do they plan on wheeling both days? If I were to go, I would drive down in the morning and drive home later the same night. Can't afford a hotel and I don't really have any camping gear. |

We lived in Delaware for a time and Dh was going to join, but we moved!! (I didn't have a Jeep at the time)Are Chuck and Jenn still there? I was on a Mom's board with Jenn. I guess I really need to get my butt over there to see what I can see. |

I am sure that they would let you tag along for a trail ride. We usually have a few others from various clubs come out. The last two times we wheeled Sat and Sun, once even wheeled Friday night. I would log onto the site and ask, not everyone that goes is a paid member of the club and I am sure that they would be fine with it. the guy that generally leads the ride began wheeling a KJ( screenname DrJ from the old site) and only within the last year bought a YJ and a TJ. He still has the KJ as well. |

Count me in on another GWNF run. That was a blast. And camping facilities at the Brandywine Campground was superb,, good showers. I think mid-October would be a good time frame for a run. Not too cold, and the leaves will be changing. We could do a campfire after wheeling,, David, I could loan you a tent geo |

I agree, I think the ride with the leaves changing and in the fall would be great. And this time I will know where the destination is. Not Harrisburg Pa. Al |

Sorry I'm new here, so forgive my ignorance, but where is GWNF. I'm from just north of Reading Pa and was wondering how far it would be for us. It sounds like a great place to do some riding. |

The dates look good to me. How about you put them on our calendar on the MA LOST site. The date we decided on for this GWNF Fall Crawl will be October 22. So mark your calendars and start planning to be there. More details to follow. |
