Thanks

We are meeting in Harrisonburg, VA. There is a Sheetz on 33 just off I-81. Your best bet is to go 64 west, to 81 north, 33 west. You will see the sheetz on the right about a 1/4mi. I think it’s just past the 2nd light.

We will plan are route from there.
Jason

Edit: route 33 is exit number 247b. It looks to be about 25mi north of I-64

You will be going through Richmond on 64. I can meet you right off of exit 178A (Short Pump). Thats about 1/2 way for you. It takes 2 hours to get to Richmond (unless you drive faster that 70) from Hampton Roads, and another 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get to GWNF. Give me a ring when your getting close to Richmond and we'll meet up for some breakfast or something before we leave.

I'm still in. However the make Richmond at 6AM we need to leave at 4AM. You game KJ Willy? Of course if the meeting time at Sheetz is 9am instead of 8am it sure would be nice (Hint, hint). Most times we never leave a 8am anyway.

I was actually thinking of leaving the night before and get a hotel room?

but if it is moved till 9 and a group is going up, then we can caravan.

If you do get a room, Motel 6 on Linda Lane runs about $57/night and the hotel is less than a mile from the meeting point.

If 9am is a go, I would suggest that 9 become the "get in the jeep and head to the hill time". That way we will still have plenty of time to play. If folks are running late we can meet further up the trail.

There is a Waffle House on Broad Street off the Glenside/Staples Mill exit on 64. Meet there round 7?

Richard, if we arrive at 7 will that allow enough time to eat or do we need to get right back on the road? I'm thinking that it will be tight. However, if there is time Waffle House wins. In not, isn't there a Shetz close buy there? We can always get a Scooby Snack there and then hit the road.

Sheets is literally 300 feet away. I may just pick something up real early in the am before I go get my passanger (YES RICHARD HAS A PASSANGER!) and meet you around the 64 Short Pump exit. Let me know what you want to do.
