Picked up an HVAC control from a wrecked 05 on ebay for $25 last week. Got around to putting it in today. Man was that ever easy to get out. I'm accustomed to removing 30 screws and multiple pieces of plastic in a GM to get out the radio or HVAC. The KJ was one phillips head (not 7 different size torque heads or stars like GM) then 4 screws for the unit to come out of the bezel, screw in the new one and plug all the pieces back in. Now I have an AC button. Woohoo, yeah for the simple things...LOL
