Post subject:  Adams Jeep Jam

Hey guys the Adams Jeep Jam is coming up soon. It's on June 16th from 9a-3p. Anyone else here coming? If you're interested in coming and haven't signed up yet, let me know and I can give you their contact info so you can register. By the way, registration is FREE but limited to 200 Jeeps, so I don't know how close they are to filling up. This will be the third year I've attended and it was a blast the previous times I went. They have lots of custom Jeeps, vendors (Rusty was there both times I went), crushed cars to play on with your Jeep, and a raffle for some cool prizes (usually including things like wheels, lift kits, gps units and car stereo head units). So who's coming this year?

We will be there again this year, but sporting the RUBI this year, after seeing all those bad booty wranglers we traded the KJ in 2 weeks after the show. But we had a blast last year. Sure was cool making a grand entrance with everybodys lifted libbys last year.

I have a set of OEM rock rails from a 05 renny that I need gone, If anybody is going to the jeep jam and is interested I can bring them with me. I will accept all reasonable offers. They have never been offroad, they are in good shape and I have all the bolts. They have been painted graphite to match the renny wheels.

So Richey, it looks like we are the only ones from here going. I was going to see if anyone wants to meet up somewhere prior to Adams but with just the two of us would be kinda pointless. Is everybody really that busy this Saturday to come? Oh well, I'll take some pics so you can all see what you missed.

I was hoping to see some of the guys from last year. I know PJ(pat) had his silver renegade there last year traded it in on a blue Lifted TJ from adams, Im sure he will be there. Mike traded his for a JK, Al sold his for a rubicon, everybody that was there last year has a wrangler now. Oh well,
See ya saturday on the RTI and Car crush.

So another Jeep Jam came and went. It was rather enjoyable (except for the sunburn). There were only two Libertys there. One stock and one lifted (I don't think either of them were LOST). There were a few interesting Jeeps there though. One guy had taken the body of a Jeepster and grafted it on to the frame of an old Bronco. Then there was the guy with the adjustable airbag suspension running 39" swampers. (He won for best trail Jeep). I had fun on the RTI ramp and car crush. There was an embarassing moment on the ramp for me though. Just when I got as far up as I could go, I heard a pop. A second later the guy doing the measuring on the ramp is holding my front drivers side spring up for everyone to see. But I still scored an 820. If my brake lines weren't stretched to the max, I might have been able to creep up a few more inches though. And waiting in line for the car crush was more nerve racking than driving over them. I had to sit and wait for about ten minutes for the the guy in front of me to make it over. He was driving an old Grand Wagoneer with a two or three inch lift. He just couldn't seem to find the right line and kept getting stuck and had to back up and keep starting over. He eventually broke off his tailpipe in the process. But I made it over with no problems. So on to the pics. Here are a couple samples. The rest can be found on my photobucket page http://s120.photobucket.com/albums/o182/chefdab/Adams%20Jeep%20Jam%202007/
