Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to take a minute and pop in.

My Name is Pete and I live in Northern NJ.

This is my second Jeep. My first was a 96 Cheerokee Sport. Anyhow this 2005 Liberty Renegade.

Anyhow if anyone knows any good shops in Northern NJ let me know.

Thanks all!

Pete

I like www.ok4wd.com located in Stewartsville on RT.57. Had work done on my Liberty there.

I am not from NJ but live just over the boarder. I work in hackensack. I pass a place on rt 17 south just before 17jeep, there is a place that ALWAYS have lifted jeeps and other mods sitting out side. I am not sure if they sell anything or if they only do custom work.

Hi,, they just said that since it was my daily driver it would make the ride much harder.. and other parts would wear much quicker , throw off the center of gravity ,, etc etc ,,

Ahhhhhh - interesting - I actually think that the ride has improved after the lift - not as "springy" - feels, "tighter", but that could be all in my head... do not know what to say about parts wearing out faster...about the only thing I see that is "stressed" at this point is the front sway bar links and am going to eventually replace them with the quick disconects from JeepinbyAl soley because since they look like they can be adjusted out to releave the stress.
