I would like to start this up so that you can show off the Family, Jeep, Pets, etc...

So, make a little introduction with some pics or a link to your own bio page (if you have one) and we will see how it goes.

Nice thread idea!

Kristen and I (Brady) are getting married in April. We each have a dog and they are our babies (read: spoiled rotten).

Kristen's dog is a Golden/Cocker mix named Terra (nicknames: Terror, Munchkin and "Cut That Out!"). She's the life of the party and is just surfing through life without a single care.

My dog is a Black Lab mixed with some kind of terrier (still haven't figured out what) named Lou (nicknames: Little Man, Goober Head, Draculou, and Loudini). He's an abuse runaway that I rescued from the animal shelter in Lexington, KY. He's' my buddy. He's been deathly afraid of almost everything since I got him. I've spent 7 years helping him get over his fears. We're working on his fear of the water now.

Kristen is from VA Beach, born and raised. Yea, I was just as surprised...there actually ARE people who are FROM here! Crazy! 4th gen VA Beach, 13th gen Virginian. She is the most amazing woman I have ever met and comes from a long line of amazingly accomplished women and very strong family.

I am from (Cliff Notes version): born in Washington, DC, then moved to CO when I was three. Saudi Arabia when I was 10, then spent my teens in Northern VA (learned to drive on the Capitol Beltway, which explains why no one likes to ride with me twice. College in Eastern KY, began career in KY, moved to Northern VA, back to KY, then here to VA Beach. Plan on staying here for a long time 'cause it's where my angel lives. ;-) We've traced back 13 generations in America and then everyone had to get back to work on the farm...so I don't know how many gens we've been here.

Here's our CarDomain site. Page two has our personal pictures on it.

Enjoy! I hope to get to know all of you some day!

So .. here's a little something about my family and I.

I was born and raised in NJ as anyone who has ever spoken to me in person could tell you! I was previously married , and I have a 6 year old daughter ( very soon to be 7). Gabriella, Shes very smart and silly and makes me smile everyday. We enjoy singing Dave Matthews songs. We will be taking her camping @ Hershey park and she'll see her first DMB show , from the cheap seats w/ ear plugs under the starry sky.
I met Bill, my husband at a 4th of July party in 2002.Everyone said it wouldn't last , so we decided to get married this year! We have a lot of fun. We enjoy camping, concerts , off roading (when we get to go),music, travel and trying new beers , trying new things and meeting new people. We currently live in Budd Lake, NJ with "Voodoo" our black cat and "Pepe" the wonder hamster. We recently bought a house ( so forget the mods I was planning! ) it's in Hopatcong, NJ and we are supposed to close 6/9/06 ( we'll see)!
I bought my first Jeep in 99' it was a 97' Grand Cherokee, I loved that jeep , but more than that ,my daughter formed an attachment to it she cried when we had to trade it in . She still misses "Jeepy" . So when the GC went I happened upon my little 04' Renny someone had special ordered it and then changed thier mind and thats how we wound up w/ "Sully". Shortly after .. My husband (still my boyfriend at the time) not to be out done bought "The Beast" you can see all our pictures on my car domain page, page 2.

Well I was born in Richmond, Va but soon after left for Clearwater, Fl. We lived there for 2 years then moved to St. Thomas for 1 year. My dad worked for IBM at the time and then quit when he found out they were doing illegal stuff. We moved to the Netherlands and lived there for 6 months before coming back to Richmond. I have lived here eversince. Both my parents were born in the Netherlands. My mother was a US citizen when I was born, however my dad was not, so I am ellagible for dual citizenship (helps with traveling). I got my KJ as my first "car" on my 16th birthday. Shortly after getting this as a gift, my father passed away due to a brain aurizm (sp). 2 months later, my grandfather (dads dad) passed away from the same thing. Because of these events, I have become a much stronger person. My KJ also holds a great amount of sentimental value. My younger brother is looking into a WJ right now. I am currently dating my wonderfull girlfriend Alison who is the love of my life. We are moving in together this summer in an apartment for college. If anyone wants some pics of me or her go to my myspace: www.myspace.com/vanreekum

Hi all! So, you want to know about me? Let's see, I was born in Wilmington, DE, moved to Rochester, NY when I was 4 and now I live outside of Baltimore, MD. I've been married to Dave (Baltimore born and raised) for almost 15 years and it must be good 'cuz he's still putting up with me and it doesn't look like he's trying to escape or anything. We have a four year old chow/beagle mix named Killian and a 14 year old cockatiel named Crash. I run after school programs for elementary and middle schools around Baltimore, Dave is a RV tech.

Holidays and school vacations are spent visiting relatives in Rochester, NY and Palm Bay, Florida. We spend as many summer weekends as possible camping on Chincoteague Island (Tom's Cove Park ROCKS!!!). Hopefully the #$%@ piping plovers on Assateague will choose to nest someplace other than the ORV area this summer and we'll be able to let the KJ play in the sand!

Hope to meet more of you in person sometime soon!

Sharon

I am Myke, I was born in New Brunswick, NJ. I have lived in NJ my whole life. My first car was a 98 v6 Mustang that my mom gave to me. I currently have the 02 KJ. I love to ski ("it's what I do"), besides skiing I am into anything with an engine. I am apart of Infamous Creationz. It is a car club. I live at home with my mom(Terri). She drives a modded out Mazda Rx-8(blue). We also have a 92 Nissan 300ZX N/A. Someday I plan to be a cop.

Here is a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland. I grew up in Northern Baltimore County and live in Abingdon near BelAir now. My mom lives in Southern PA so I spend some time their too. I have owned a Jeep since I was 15 years old. My first was a CJ5 I bought for $500 dollars after it was wrecked. My dad and I spent half a year fixing it up and since then I have been hooked on them. Theirs nothing like bent metal and a hammer to bring a family together. I have also have owned a YJ and TJ but this is my fist Liberty. I am determined to make people realize that KJ’s can get muddy and go offroad. I have a 6 year old son named Justin who also loves Jeeps. I don’t know if my wife (Lyn) dose or not, if I talk too much Jeep her eyes roll back in her head. I have a Yellow Lab named Lilly who likes to take rides in my KJ and leave her hair in it. I enjoy Martial Arts, Mountain Biking, Camping, Baseball and Soccer.

I just recently joined L.O.S.T. but I have learned a lot about KJ’s from the site. I plan on getting a Frankinlift unless I run out of money. I have already used several venders on the site and have been impressed with the treatment I have received. I think Mid-Atlantic LOST rocks and I hope to meet all of you soon. If you want to see some pics check out my web site.

Hi everyone! My name is Chris and I live in Bloomsburg PA. A few of you might remember me from a ride at Paragon a few years back. I haven't posted on the forums for quite a while. There has been a lot of great changes in my life but they have kept me very busy. My wife and I have a daughter now. Her name is Emma and she is 18 months old. I still have the Libby and last year I bought a YJ and made some Mods to it. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to take either out wheeling as much as I would like to. Its nice to see the community is still very active.
