Well, there was just one big topic and that was getting the new officers elected. With two vacancies needing to be filled and with my departure to Michigan in March/April, a third slot opened up so it was time to get that rolling so the club can grow. We had our biggest turnout ever (good to see people getting involved!) and we now have the results.

It was unanimously decided that Al (JeepinAl) will be the new President and his appointed VP will be Chris S ( WV(0)IIIIIII(0) ), the Secretary Will be Joe (Joe Jeeper) and the Treasurer will be Tammy (02Liberty) (did I mix these 2 pos. up?). The official date for the new officers will be March 1st. David and I will take care of things until then.

Now, there will be some changes made to the club and this is where you come in. Al will explain in more detail but in essence, there will be representatives for each state needed to help in the duties of running things in their state. Only apply for this if you can commit the time! There will be 2 reps needed for each state (I`ll post something down further) except PA will need 4. The new officials will be considered as 1 rep from their respective state.

All further details, such as dues, etc. will also be announced by Al in the near future. The MA site I can hand over or a new one can be started. Al will let me know what he needs and I`ll help with that, and in all matters, in any way I can to have a smooth transition. If anyone needs anything, just lmk.

With that all said, I wish the new people good luck and hope they can take the club to new heights. I`ll miss everyone and will try to get down here once in awhile to wheel or meet and greet with all the great friends I`ve met here as well as any new members. Michigan will be fun, but a part of me will be missing because I`ll always have a part of MA LOST in my heart. One parting wish I would like to say is that each and every member get involved with the club and make it a success. We have the people, now let`s see you participate!! The club is only as good as YOU make it and thats by participating in all events, online, on the trails, or at shows or gatherings.

Mike

I'd rep NJ. As of March 31st I will become more active in the physical meetings because that's when I get my license.

You forgot me Mike! I am willing to take one of the slots in Va as long as nobody has an issue with it.

Had to work again tonight so I missed it. Looks like I missed a lot!

Congrats to all the new officers.
Good Luck in Michigan Mike!

And uh Myke...get your license? Is there some sort of background check we need to run on you before you represent the great state of Joisey?

Hahaha, no it's that I'm 16 with a permit so I have to get someone 21 or older to go places with me, that's why its so hard for me to make monthly meetings in person and the such. Once I have my license I will be able to attend a lot more since I can travel on my own.

Mike, I would like to thank you again for all the work you put into this subject, as well as the club. Dave Thank you too! And I would like to thank you all for visiting the chat room last night. I will bring forth some new ideas soon.

Al

Unfortunately I was unable to make it last night...my dd (a 4-banger) blew up on my way home from work...
Congrats to the new officers, and thanks to the outgoing ones, you guys did great!

If you NEED a west PA guy, I can step up although I'll be busy most of July getting married.

Al, if you need any help with the website, let me know, I've done website work before, but I'm just no good with photoshop.

So, I finally decide to drag my tail to the gym after work cuz I can't think of a good excuse not to.... and I should have been here!!!! Sorry I missed this one, but couldn't be happier about the results. Except, of course the part about Mike and Wendy moving away.

Congratulations to Al, Chris, Joe and Tammy! It appears our future is in very good hands.

I might be interested in representing Maryland ... could use a few details about what kind of responsibilities go with the position.

Sharon

I'll throw my name in for the NJ position if needed.
I'm normally pretty busy but I always find time for the important things in life.
Let me know.
Congrats to all and thanks to all.
Tom.

This topic seemed to have been thrown back behind the trail ride topics, I can't make these(still no license until march). So I was wondering any new news?

This is not a dead issue or has been forgotten about. I will be in contact with Al, Tammy and Joe (hopefully) this weekend and will be posting the details for this position on Monday. The decision for the positions will be made at the end of Feb. and the responsibility of this position will take affect starting in March. I am thanful to those of you that has responded so far. One of the things to consider is that you will be required to set up an event and attend. The rest of the details will be discussed this weekend (I HAVE NO LIFE :D )

Lets make this a great year and the building block for the greatest chapter in lost

Respectfully,
Chris Sine
Mid-Atlantic V.P.
