No, not a mounting place for carrying it, just for lifting.

I see, that would be a good thing too.

Thanks for clearing it up for me. Your video is pretty cool btw.

Rock Lizzard, are you planning to have the bull bar on your bumper at all?

What size were the tires on that liberty in the picture... they make it look like a mix of an old jeep and a jeep liberty, in my opinion anyhow.

It seems to me that the slanted bumber makes it easier to slide off of a rock.
They also make it more likely that you slide backwards insteade of forwards getting you hopelessly stuck or shoving a nice rock into something expensive.

I like the way it looks so far in the cad drawings, I am curious how it turns out (and how much I am going to abuse my bumper in the future)

WOohoO! I thought you HAD fallen off the face of the earth.. Good to see you are still hard at work.. As you can see around here, we're more hard up for a replacement front bumper than ever! Does still seem kinda heavy though..

Anyone know how much the ARB wieghs?

THANKS!

Hoss, the ARB without winch weighs around 110 lbs I think. I THINK. Maybe a tad more.

We've seen rigs where the ARB knocked 1/2" to 1" off the lift in front.

Nice picture....

I wonder if we can get 10 people to line up for one of these , even if it doesn't exist.

Don't forget a couple of light tabs on top also. Someone like me would still want some fog/driving lights that we would lose in switching bumpers.

Hey...we couldn't even get 10 people to throw down for a bumper that actually exists.......what makes you think that getting 10 people for a bumper that is in the "drawing" stage is any better. If this bumper gets made..and I hope it does I'm just wondering what the interest is going to be. Granted the other bumper was a whole 100 bucks more...but it actually existed and could be on your KJ right now ! or in the near future at least and...we only got 6 takers. I sure hope some more people step up to the plate if this one gets made. All I see is allot of talk and no action (from the KJ crowd...not the vendors...if there was more serious support for product we would have a better aftermarket for sure). Although we're pretty big on maglites and mounts ..so theres that !

If All J could come up with one that is somehow (and I don't know the engineering involved) universally applicable to '05 as well, there would have been a few more takers. As it is, I'm out of that list simply because I don't have a vehicle it was designed for. Bummer.

AFAIAC, the All J bumper doesn't exist now since there's still tooling that needs to be done, boss to be convinced, etc. so it's not like it's sitting there on the shop floor. Granted, it's a different situation than Rock Lizard that's in planning stage right now.

I'm very naive about the tooling that's required ... that's why I'm asking this question:

Couldn't the cost of the tooling be amortized over several projects/products?
