Hmm...that shouldn't be that bad. Toughest part would be to find the flat steel...but I'm sure my dad can get ahold of some at his job site or at the machinists. Looks pretty beefy! So you're saying it would overlap the stock front skid and go back to the rear cross member? I was looking under my KJ last night trying to figure out where to attach it on the front...the rear didn't seem like it would be that big of a deal.

I put it under the front and over the rear so that when I hit something going forward it will slide on the front and drop tp the mid then I put it over the x-fer case so it will drop again to it
