I bought a Rustys Coil lift back in early 2004 and have 70,000 miles on it. The front settled a bit so I added the Rusty's .5 inch spacer plates and it is good. The front struts still feel like they are new but the rear shocks were toast after about 10,000 miles. Replaced with Rancho RSX's love it now it is perfect!

How much work was it to add the spacer plate? Would it help level out the KJ? My front end has always appeared lower than the back...even when it was stock.

70,000 miles since 2004 :o I only have 40K on my 2002.

The only way to know that is for someone to have had both. Maybe one or two may have gone from Sky to Frank. I know of nobody that has gone from Frank to any other lift.

I've had both. The height looks to be about the same but the ride with the frankenlift is way better.

the front struts on my skyjacker blew out twice, I had them replaced once and the ride was still really rough and it kept going out of alignment, the next time they blew out I ordered the frankenlift and it is like a whole new jeep the ride is better than stock and handles great

I do know of some people who rave about skyjacker but my experience was not good.

Thanks for the post. This really helps me narrow it down. Seems like the two most popular lifts are the Rusty’s Coil and the Frankenlift.

Frankenlift

Had it on for a year. The rear sits lower, so I need to add spacers to make it level. It has eaten the inner CV boot on both sides.
