I think a DTT (Detroit Tru-Trac) with ESP would be a great combo fron and rear. The ESP would apply the brake (if it even needed it with a DTT) and make the DTT act much like a locker.

Um, OK. I don't think that the ESP even needs that Darby, but I would be curious of the results...

Is the ox locker not an option? Or is it the price that excludes it?

They are a bit expensive, but folks that have them love them.

Eddo, thanks. I'll probably got with a Detroit, OX or ECTED

I know of at least 1 TJ that had the ECTED and had nothing but problems with it
if you got the funds go for the OX hands down

1 thing to keep in mind with the 44 is that the carrier break is at 3.73 so to go 4.10 or 4.56 you will need to get thick cut gears
I dont know if it matters or not to the OX but from what I hear they are OK for the ARB and the Detroit but I also hear that they are out for "lunch box lockers" I dont know why but I think it has to do with the way they are installed

I had the ECTED in my Ranger/B4000, and loved it...best of both worlds, and a really great setup...
