ya i can see that... looking great man!

thanks for the input and the pics.. do you think that with that set up you have you could add new rims 16x7 with 4.5" b/s and still have minimal rubbing?

Yes and no
I think you could but you would need to bumpstop the he11 out of the rear to keep the flairs from being destroyed
why would you want to change the rims?
I think that it looks good on the OE wheels with larger tires and lift
It looks like it should from the factory to me

my rims are scratched really bad and starting to rust a lot and there is major chunks of paint flaking off them so im gonna get some crager soft 8's

umm well like literally the paint is just falling off.. like i washed it the other day and like half of the paint of one rim just came off.. they look terrible..

plus the soft 8's i think just simply look amazing on a kj..

it will be a give and take type of situation
if you go with those wheels you will need to bumpstop the he!! out of the rear as well as do a LOT of work to the fender liner/fog lamp door area
If you go with OME or any near stock length shock and go with about 1-1.5" of bumpstop spacing you will give up a bunch of your rear travel wich in a KJ is all you have with the IFS
if you are truely hung up on the steel wheels then you will need to go with a longer shock like the rancho or the long OME shock

another option would be to get the OE wheels powder coated back
I know that the local place by me charges like $35 a wheel
