I have had mine on for well over a year and a half with no problems. I guess it depends on how much wheeling you do. I go offroad around our farm at least once a month. But I try not to get too rough with it. my experience is good but i can't speak for all

Donnie for the OTT type it should be just a tad over a normal strut replacement, about 2 hours.(our shop @65.00 per hour)
The rear spacer,(coil replacement)1 to 1 1/2 hours, and about 7 tenths of an hour for the shocks. So probably 250.00 to 300.00 would be a fair guess.

Man I need to up my prices.......from free to 10 bucks!

04liberty so you never have changed out shocks or anything and you believe the engineers that you can go 125,000 and never do anything but replace fluids, I never run one over 40/50000 at most before replacing shocks, belts, hoses etc. all mine get new springs at 90/100,000 if I havent upgraded before that. Of course used to be when I traded one in the dealership had a waiting list just for my trucks.

There are several folks running OTT lifts without problems - but others that have had them kill struts in as little as a weekend.

It sounds like the main failure comes from the front suspension in full compression - since the OTT moves the entire unit away from the original bumpstop - the new bumpstop becomes the internal seals of the strut cylinder itself - they don't live long that way - the fix is either - don't flex the suspension or extend the bumpstop.

Here's how to entend a bumpstop.
