Upper A-arms would only hit the springs when the front is fully flexed downward, with normal driving they shouldn't come anywhere close to touching. If the noise is coming from the rear you may have to put some washers in the upper shock mount point if it doesn't tighten down enough. As mentioned re-tighten the swaybar when level, and make sure the upper strut mounting bolts are all tight.

I have a Daystar lift that I purchased used and don't have any noise in normal driving. Good luck!

Thanks for your input! I'm officially an idiot. I found out that I neglected to put the rubber spacers on top of the strut plate under the bolt that attaches the strut to the strut plate. My bad! Guaranteed rattle!

I would'nt say your an idiot.......As you mentioned in earlier post, you can put a lift on 4 different jeeps, and may not have any problems, but the liberty's IFS is a whole new critter. The main thing is that you tackled it and corrected it.I knew you would......just hoped you did'nt get frustrated enough to give up on it.As with all of us,this was just another learning experience.

By the way......are you about ready for the best part? Time for some BIG tires now. 8)

Here are the final results! 2.5" Daystar lift and 245/75R16 tires. If this pic is small, I've posted a larger one further in this thread!

Well,on the original,and jt's quote,and your quote,I still get about a 1 1/2"x1' pic. I even downloaded it to my pictures,hosted it,and resized it,and I still get a mini-pic.

Do you have a 3" monitor Troy? :) :) :) :)

Here's another pic. I was messing around with re-sizing and I must have screwed that one up!

It looks like you left out the stock rear isolator, It would be a bit more level if you put it back.

I did leave out the stock rear isolator pads since the Daystar directions said to! It actually sits pretty level on flat ground. My drive way is sloped which makes the liberty sit uneven. I would like to hear from anyone who used the Daystar lift and whether they left the stock rear pads in or not.

I left it out at first but it squatted in the rear so I put it in. I love the look now.

I pulled the isolators out when I installed mine - looking back on it I really don't know if I could have gotten the springs set with them under the spacers. Mine sits just a bit higher in the back (pretty much like stock, just higher all around :D )

I appreciate all your comments. Please keep it up. I'm leaning toward putting the stock spacers back in. I have a really good spring compressor and I'll probably need it!

If you unbolt the rear swaybar it will allow the rear to drop more, for ease of installation.

Got er done! Put the stock pads back in under the Daystar lift. Looks like it gives the rear about another 1/4 to 1/2 inch lift. I agree that it levels things out and looks better. Dark now, but I'll post a pic tomorrow to compare. As usual, thanks for all the tips and help!
