Skid plate location questions..

Called the dealership local, they told me about 3.00 a piece, but he was honest and said you can buy them from auto parts stores..

How many will i need? I know the Gas tank skidplate doesn't need any, nor does the Engine Skidplate..

Engine one is installed, man that was easy !!!

3 bucks???? I bought them from the dealer here for a buck a piece.

Tcase skid needs 4 and the tranny should only need two. The front part of the tranny skid gets sandwiched between the engine skid and the cross member.

and I need a size..

And is it wise to upgrade to Grade 8 bolts to mount it all up?

I have never seen them in a hardware store.

You could buy one and take it to an auto supply to see if they have it.

As far as an upgrade, because I have never had a problem (after many scrapes) I can not assess the advantage.

All of mine (came with skids) were hex.
