I hate drilling new holes. I hated drilling for the rock rails, but i had to. I want to get the correct ones...

and For once I want something to go on the !@$# jeep without any screw ups...

Never seen a build up of any 4WD that you never had to drill a hole in them, thats half the fun! They dont cry for too long, trust me   And no matter what make, something will screw up somewhere when youre adding stuff to them!.

Oh I know, really its pretty much anything that I've worked on, cars, jeeps, boats, ect.

Digging up the past, how many skids are on an '05?

I have heard of the engine skid, which may or may not be the same as the front suspensions skid, then the tranny, x-fer, & fuel tank. Is that all?

That would be about it on the skids, 4 total, front (engine), transmission, transfer case and gas tank.

X2

Only other stuff that came with my 2005 Offroad Package Renegade was the rock rails and light bar. Plus the friggin skids were missing bolts. I had to get the idiots down at the local Jeep dealership to pony up some new ones.

Hood,
If you have problems getting those swapped out I would be interested in taking them off your hands if you make me a "Godfather" offer! 8)

So whatever happened with the return or fitting? Did it work out for you?
