Sorry guys, I did edit my post with the correct figures. Look at KJ2006 vs the tire I want to run.

(DIESELENTHUSIAST) After Market Tire on Factory Rim: 265/70/R17
SIDEWALL: 7.3”
RADIUS: 15.8”
DIAMETER: 31.6”
CIRCUMFERENCE: 99.3”
REVS/MILES: 638.0

(KJ 2006) After Market Tire on Factory Rim: 265/75/R16
SIDEWALL: 7.8”
RADIUS: 15.8”
DIAMETER: 31.6”
CIRCUMFERENCE: 99.4”
REVS/MILES: 637.0

Looks pretty dang close!

I run 265/75/26's on my Frankie, though mine are 31.9", so your 265/70/17 should fit. However there is a large amount of trimming that is required to run a 32. Cut the front bumper bottom lip, pinch weld pounded down, a lot of cutting of the front wheel well liner, and I recommend relocating/replacing the washer bottle too. Also be prepared to rub a lot at full stuff in the rear.

Noticed you mentioned using a spacer with the Frankenlift in an earlier post. Don't, if you need an extra bit of lift, do a clevis lift, adding another spacer to the frankenlift will be to much angle on your front driveline.

Watch the backspacing on the rims too.

you'll be ok.. and it wont rub in the back untill your lift settles a lot (if you plan to add an isolator like i did).. the front of mine doesnt rub anywhere at all. My speedo is perfect as well.. i have a GPS navigator that tells the speed your going and it's dead on with my speedo. the set up has worked really well for me.. i think you'll be happy with it!

Well, I’m trying to somewhat copy what you did. :D I like your set-up and if it works for you, then it should work for me. I know you’ve taken your KJ off the beaten path several times and I feel that you have a pretty solid on-road and off-road log of miles on your parts. It gets confusing when everyone is talking 16” rims and I’m running factory 17”. So at least I pretend to be squared away. Do you think the larger spare tire is too heavy for your tailgate?

i've had no problems with the weight of it... however it was too large (the tire hit the bumper where it's cut out for the stock tire).. so i packed washers behind where the bracket goes on the gate.. and were the tire goes on the bracket.. they were pretty thick washers.. and it took a good number of them to space it out. i only run a spare on the gate when on road trips... when i'm at home i just leave it at home.. and when i wheel i fold down my seats and strap it in the back.. fits nicely in there and increases the departure angle. i've had it hit the ground when going up really steep hill.. and if that didn't bend the tail gate it must be pretty strong

copying is alright!.. i copied moose mostly when building mine (except for the ESP problem.. i didnt want any of that!)
