Looking good,my vents will be here on monday(at least they better be) and I plan on installing them on wed.Got mine from run cool though, the 9"x14" high flow ones. For some reason I love that rivited look, though I'll be using stainless button head bolts instead of the rivits for a cleaner look.

Are you going to cut out the center cross brace, or putting the vent over top of it? I cut mine out, at first I left it in then ended up cutting it out, thought it may trap water and stand in there if sitting outside, hood stills feels tight, may put a flat piece of steel across later if I think it needs it
9X14 vents will cover a large portion of the hood will look good. I knew yours were coming soon, so had to get mine done first!

Looks awesome tom!! I could never cut holes in my hood!!

Think rain if going to be a problem?

Dont think rain entering will be a problem, they are positioned over far enough that there is nothing really underneath, just to the sides of the engine, water should just fall through, if not pour some soap down the vents when its raining and I should have a clean engine when it stops!

I'm going to leave the brace in place, going to drill holes in it for the water to drain and at the ends of the gapping holes I'm going to have to cut I'll fill the gap in the brace(where it meets the uncut part of the hood) with RTV to prevent any water traveling to other areas of the brace.
