Thanks for the advice. Sounds like the right plan.

Yep, good choice because in 2002 you never dreamed you would have a lift. And now look at you………you’re installing ARB’s. So I think this is a wise choice because you just never know when you might want to go up to the next level………………….

Thanks for the vote of confidence in my decision. I don't plan to use this as a trail trig for at least a couple years, but sometimes I do get into some nasty ice, snow, and slush. If I end up in a ditch, or need to get up a steep icey hill to get to a slope side house it could make the difference. As for trail use, I may just get a Polaris RZR and build it for my trail desires. As for never dreaming of lifting it, I was actually planning to lift during the 2 weeks back in 2001 from the first time I saw a KJ at the lot, until I was driving the first KJ I had seen on the road. Since they had been talking about a 4 door Wrangler, and came out with the KJ and replaced the XJ. I thought that getting a good lift kit and fixing the power problem would be easy. It wasn't. Since there wasn't a lift I was willing to put on my KJ back then, I thought I would work on the power problem, but it turned out that almost nothing was available for it. People were telling me that there was no demand, so they weren't going to make anything for it. You guys know how I am about leaving vehicles unupgraded. So, I hooked up with Wayne at APC, Terry at Profinish-Proglass, Marty at KRC Performance, and Rusty at Cottman, and we built a Libby with a 3.7 into a pretty serious sport truck. It still has much more power with the lift and tires than a stocker and that's all motor. The N2O hasn't been on it for a long time. Now that I have the Franky, it is really turning into what I originally wanted. I got the fanatical performance upgrader reputation because it was so unusual for someone to take it as far as I did. I'm actually just a fanatical upgrader. Keeps me happy though. :) In addition to the front end upgrades next round I'm upgrading the cams, getting the headers installed, replacing the cats, upgrading the amp, and upgrading the sub. I'm on the fence about doing the interior. The driver's seat is starting to show some wear, but the rest look almost new.
