Whenever i eventually get to buying sliders i will be going with rock lizards. As a former engineering student i can appreciate the rock lizard design over the other.

see for yourselves.

Can someone that has installed these clarify something for me?
Does the rail mount to the inside of the pinch weld? Also, the instructions talk about a plastic strip but my 2005 doesn't have that but it does have plastic covering the lower part of the vehicle that looks like I'll have to loosen it to drill the holes.

A picture of how they mount to the pinch weld would be great.

I'm sure it would be more obvious if I went out and held them up for a test fit, but the wind chill is -20 right now and I have to do it outside in the driveway.

Like icarl pointed out, RL doesn’t cut corners. Clearly, his products are superior.

I finally got the time to install them. No problem, they fit fine, a right angle drill makes it even easier.
They are hard to see in the picture because they're black.
