Pulled the 20 amp ABS fuse and the ESP doesn't work at all. I get an ABS light, ESP BAS light and a CEL when I do it but it works great. I can slide around all I want and no ESP. I then put the fuse back in and cleared the CEL. Back to normal, except for the fan.

huh. well i guess we could use a toggle switch and a little wiring/fuse in place of the actual fuse then right?

pull the fuse then run a wire from one side of the fuse connect to an inline fuse of the same amp through a toggle switch, then back to the other side of the fuse connect in the fuse box itself right??

My liberty was overheating, and I took it into the local jeep dealership and they said the electric fan is shot. The price for them to replace it is over $600 (they said most of that cost is parts). Anyone tell me where I can find a fan at either a local parts store or online somewhere so I can replace it myself? Part numbers, etc would help! Thanks!
(Oh, I have local by me: checkers, Auto Zone and Nappa)

The only one that will fit without modification is a OEM electric fan.You can try these guys...........http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getLocator&siteid=213794&chapter=DP3043&appSectionid=8&groupid=20035&subgroupid=60539&componentid=0&make=17&model=Liberty&year=2002&graphicID=T043020&callout=9&catalogid=1Cheaper then a dealership and is OEM parts.Yes the OEM electric fan is very pricey but only takes about 10mins to replace if you do not have HD cooling.
