The rears are a few lbs above BDS, like 200 and some change. I personally don't see anything wrong with BDS, thats why I went it it. People, the OME fans, might find something wrong with it, but I just like em. I Know OME is good, but why not do something different? Not saying that quality isn't important, but BDS obviously knows what's good. My vote is BDS, but it's bias... Gotta love that warranty though.

i do have jba2.5's in the back, and with an incoming weight addition to the rear im totally game for heavier springs in the 2-3 inch range

Depends on if you want new struts or the stock ones. It comes with some bracket that uses your stock ones, but I opted for the new Ranchos. $150 upgrade, but you will prob end up getting new struts sometime down the road anyways. But besides that, it comes with everything. No bumpstops, but BDS says you don't need them. Others would disagree here, but BDS claims that the coils can bind and return to their original state without sag. And if they do sag or get messed up, well just return em and get new ones through their awesome warranty.

Will there warranty replace your fender flares when your tire rips them off?

going on a whim here, but isn't that more along the lines of what the bump stops are for ?

If that's the kind of wheelin' you're doing, bumpstops would be needed. Haha. I'm going to get them, but no kits come with them, except the Frankenlift... And that's only the rears, right?

Bumpstops are always a debateable question. All he's asking for is some lift for his Jeep.

The BDS rear coil rated are 210 lbs. I talked the phone a couple of weeks ago. And like said earlier the front are 435 lbs. And something else, made in the USA!

For some reason I have it in my mind that bumpstops make you lose a lot of flex. Just tell me otherwise and I will be happy. Oh and did you just glue the hocky pucks together?

Bumpstops limit the amount of up travel so that you wheel or axle doesn't hit the body, or anything attached to it.

x2, I made the same mistake. Spacers+Old Coils=Should of payed more for a real lift.

All depends on your wheelin' habbits. If you don't want to spend the extra cash just yet, hold out on the bump stops for a bit.

forgot to hit quote but someone asked how i put my pucks together for the rear

i just took all 3 and drilled a hole through them and drilled a hole in the lower spring pan or whatever you call the lower spring support dish dooda

stuck a bolt through the pucks, stuck the pucksinside the coil, installed the coil and then bolted the pucks down

it was somethin like 2 dollars for the carrage bolt + nuts, and 2 dollars x 6 for the 6 hockey pucks

and i paid whatever terraflex charges for front bump stops

regardless of wheeling habits, i've noticed there's roads around here that i tag the bumpstops on (atleast in the rear) more often than i would off road

I think I already read it but I will also repeat it.... since your current suspension has 80k on it, you really should save up couple extra hundred $$$ and get all four spring, all four new shocks/struts, bumpstops, and be done with it....you will be much happier and won't have to tear your suspension apart again in a year to redo stuff. I've helped install both OME and BDS springs and both seemed of good quality, I personally may end up going with BDS also in the future as we have a dealer within driving distance so I can save on shipping.
I've lifted my own fullsize Chevy's, also lifted my Chevy astro van, done both with complete kids and piecing together..... from experience, get a complete kit and be done with it. More money up front, but satisfaction alot longer and less problems.

i plan on changing all 4 springs... from the price of the bds... might end up going that route... but i might use the rancho struts. you think that would work for me?
