So I wonder if I can wire the flash wire and driving light power from the factory harness to the same lead on the LED??? I was worried about running two power leads (turn and park/driving lights) to the same input on the LED. But sounds like that's what you've done, right?

No! This is what I have - from led - red to turn signal lead / black to driving light parking light lead / white to ground. After re- reading this I wonder if your green is ground. And now I'm a little confused ? Your turn marker lights come on white when the light are turned on but blink Amber when the turns are activated ? If so I'd say you have them wired correctly and it sounds like you have switchback led's.

Pretty close. When driving lights are turned on the white LED is on but not the amber. When turn signals are activated the amber flashes as it should and the white stays on solid if the driving or headlights are on.

The ARB instructions have this for the wiring: Vehicle indicator/turn signal wire to the Green lead on the LED. Vehicle parking wire to the Red on the LED. Connect vehicle ground wire to Black on the LED.

Since the OEM parking/turn bulb is a dual filament - one filament on with the driving/headlights, the other filament flashes on with the turn signals - there are two leads going to that bulb. The OEM clearance light - the white one in the original fixture - has two wires to it. Is one of those to supply power when the driving/headlights are on and the other to make it flash alternately with the turn signal? If so, maybe the leads from the LED fixture should just go to those two factory leads and ignore the turn signal leads.

I'm poor with electrical - trying to get 5 OEM leads to work with 3 aftermarket leads ain't in my wheelhouse. Now give me an engine to tear apart and put back together and we're in business...

I installed the bumper, and have the same issue with the fast blink. However, i will be getting load resistors from superbrightledlights soon to rectify the problem.

I have a question, how the h-e- Double Hockey Sticks are you supposed to get the fog lamp cups into place? Right now i have two holes where they should be after tightening the bumper down it is super tight in there to get the brackets in place.

Suggestions, pics, know how would be fantastic....

Go over to jeepkjcountry search for the flasher mod. To stop the Hyper flash. It works.

You have to pull the bumper to properly mount the fogs. Getting the 4 mounting screws in without taking the bumper off would be very difficult. Its not hard to drop the bumper. I think its 6 bolts(4 if you havent drilled the two lower holes yet) and just use a floor jack to help lower it down. I've taken it off and put it back on by myself.

I think the white lights are supposed to stay lit while the ambers flash. They are meant to be a clearance light. I used a $5 voltmeter from Harbor freight to test the pins on the OEM harness, just turn on the hazards and test each pin until you find the one that cycles with the turn signals and then turn on the headlights and see which wire supplies a constant 12V for the clearance lights .

Again, I like this bumper a lot but it seems like they half assed a lot of stuff. You spend ~$1500 after shipping on these things and you would hope they could maybe throw in some LEDs with internal resistors or maybe even some OEM style harnesses instead of the quick taps. To those of you that said just throw a resistor in there, I am fully aware of what to do. Thats not the point, its not that I dont know what to do with it, or how to do it, its the amount of money I spent to get a partial solution. I mean the darn bumper is like 20% the value of my jeep.

CRAP!

Guess I talked to the wrong person - I threw a fit on the phone and they knocked a few bucks off and free shipping. I'm thrilled with the fit and quality of the bumper itself but the electrical accessories...

The OEM fogs dont fit the new bumper. They used to but the new design bumper fits either the ARB fogs or "a Toyota" Fog Light. I bought Morimoto XB LED fog lights specifically for toyotas and found out that they dont even come close to fitting the bumper.

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/complete-headlight-fog-light-housings/morimoto-xb-led-fog-lights-toyota.html#.Vglr4PlVhBc

The compatibility list shows that they fit basically every toyota since 2010 so I am not sure why they are not even in the ball park on this bumper. I made it work by using some bolts and shims to hold them in place but I am worried that the first bump i hit will cause them to go skipping down the road.

the fogs for a 05-07 fit(I think). The ones that go in the grille. Also have to have the (aim adjusters).

The original 05-07 ARB fit the OEM fogs, the current one does not.

Original 05-07:

New 05-07:

I have no idea why they felt the need to change it other than maybe they were getting complaints about the OEM fogs not being that good. They now have a removable plastic housing that holds the Fog lights instead of just the OEM sized cutouts. When I checked, there was no way to fit the OEM light into this new housing without mods so I just went with the Morimoto Toyota LEDs.

i had no idea about this because the picture on ARB's website(the first picture above) is still the original style with the OEM fogs so i was a little surprised when I got my bumper. I have only ever seen pictures of the new bumper here on Lostjeeps. Even JBA shows the old style and says it fits the OEM fogs despite sending me the new one.

Awesome, I was about to tear into my flasher to see what I could do so i didnt have to get inline resistors.

I just did the flasher mod and it worked great. No more Hyperflash and no need for the in line resistors.

Bought these resistors on ebay and they did the job:
