My mistake, Sir. I had forgotten that the KJ is only a Liberty in N.A. To the rest of the world it is what it should have been from the start:the Cherokee.

I'll post pics when I can get to photobucket. But yeah, it is the '79 I am talking about. I wasn't posting about the tire size so much as I was about the gear ratio thing. You know, I would not hesitate to try a 32-33" tire with the 6-sp. 1st gear is fairly low ( although not the 6.32 of the T18.)

Only wide track Cherokees and J-trucks will let you slip 33's on them. Wagoneers can't fit over 31's without lift.

No the lift never came out basically a one off for Jeep/ SEMA, had one off spindles / rear flares etc. Sweet setup though, I would of drove it!
