Don't waste money on extended bumpstops with an OME kit.

And remember, everyone has there own opinion, and on the net, its very very strong, since were all basically faceless and anonymous... There is a saying on many forms for people like traker, they wear internet pants

They need internet pants to hold the massive lug nuts they need to spew the amount of bs they are LOL... Anyways, we all have different opinions, but we all have different tastes, and different budgets, and different requirments. As long as you read, and LISTEN to what everyone hear says, you will come out with a great Jeep, if not, you can ignore everything, listen to yourself, grab your internet pants and learn the hard way. Heck, a lot of members here did that, and they had to go back and fix it. You seem to of gotten the good stuff, so you will be fine, congrats

getting personal again but, there are a bunch of people on here who turn wrenches for a living and also for fun in the evenings and know just as much as someone who does it daily for pay.

I have several years as a mechanic as well, my Father started me at 10/11 years old tearing down motors and rebuilding them. I went through the trainings to do front suspensions / brakes/automatic & manual trans etc Have the certificates to prove it.
Have never stopped wrenching even though I do work as a Complaince Analyst now,( note correct spelling) ( pays a he** of a lot more :wink:

) and just ask the 8 guys that were at my house last weekend if I know how to turn a wrench yet or not :lol:

I'd have to say with the majority of people I know, the lift and increase in tire size go hand and hand. Can't say I know too many people that don't do both at the same time, thus you want the bump stumps.

Besides even if you haven't increased the tire size, having the extended bump stops isn't going to do you any harm.

"Don't waste your money"?, Whole lotta rattle shaking for a pair of bump stops that cost a whole $20, pretty cheap insurance policy IMHO, and besides I am sure we could all list off hundreds of more wasteful purchases over the course of our lives.

And as for reliability of information, I'll give tommudd a big thumbs up, followed his advice on this forum for my front lift, couldn't be happier with it.
