ok... so back on topic. in 4hi i've used it over and over and over at 65mph. When your on the highway and there is patchy snow/ice it is VERY nice to be in 4wd when going over it.... and you cant slow down to switch back to 2wd when there is not patchy snow/ice or snow drifts. also 4wd DOES FOR SURE help you slow down.. atleast with a manual it does help like crazy... you have 4 wheels (3 in my case) helping you slow without brakes instead of just 2 (or 1 in most cases). anyone that has driven a 4wd manual in the snow should know that. assuming you use gears to slow yourself down... which works much better then brakes in snow. If you havnt feel free to stop by next time lake erie gives us 2 feet of snow and i'll explain it to you
