Rear - 22 from center of hub to flare

interesting measurements
I keep thinking mine is a lot lower than everyone elses, but with the ARB hanging on mine I have 22 1/2 with just OME 927s/ Ranchos, 2 ring clevis & 1/4 inch top plate.
If I remember right 03KJsort after the 4 inch is 23 inches or so

Well Throw another 50 lbs of winch in that bumper. Hopefully the 970's and top plate will get me around that much lift.

X's two

I do know one thing from ones following this, using stock top plates you can use a Rocky Road top plate or a Rustys top plate, for those using the Daystar top plate like with a Frankenlift you have to use a Rustys, RR's are too thick.
So you know what that means
Rustys are 1/4 inch thick = 1/2 inch lift
Rocky Road are 3/8 inch thick = 3/4 inch more lift and what we will not do for a 1/4 inch more

Rocky Road (when building there crappy OTT spacer lift ) uses a 3/8 chunk of steel for the top and bottom parts of the spacer , they use that same top part for the top plate spacer they sell

now so I do not get into trouble with the Lift Police , this notice
of course this is only done after you have lost some heighth due to long term use, heavy winch/bumper etc. Installing this on a new Frankenlift would give you lots of problems

I’ve heard that the Reverend is taking up an on-line offering. For those who did not tithe today, Reverend T. will make sure your money is put to good use and evangelize to all those who may be LOST……………

Well that is correct Brother Diesel, every dollar donated will go into a special fund to buy more parts for mine to see how they work and if it is worth your while to buy them. No money at all will be used for administration fees or go to any politician. I also drive the KJ everywhere so no money is spent on jets!!!!!

In a related issues, I STILL have not got around to putting the KJ lift on. But:

My front is noticably sagging. I took some photos of my sis-in-laws '05 and mine is visibly lower. I took the jeep & photos to my selling dealer. Yes, I was trying to shake them down for free stock parts prior to the lift. Two dealers now have said that mine is "within specs" and that height differences are just due to different options on the KJ's. This is surprising as hers is LOADED with an auto & 242, anti-lock brakes, etc... and mine has none of that. The "specs" my jeep is "within" seems to be ChryCo's stock answer for these issues. Of course, they show me my jeep after my worn out front springs look completely diffferent from a 1/2 hour on the rack, but they settle right back down after a little bit. I told them to look before they put it on the lift......

If I was not going to lift it we would be having words about this.

Oh well.... back to your regularly scheduled program

within specs is a good catch phrase to make the customer think everything is fine. Yes you can take the weight off of the suspension for 15 minutes and have it sit an inch higher until you move it
So when are going to get that lift on there, darn springs are going to be turning green with moss growing on them
