you also understand that even though they look beefy, they hold a lot less than your sport rails, don't you? the look is the only reason to get them. the sport ones are much more functional.

Does anyone know if the roof rack equipped on the Renegade fits the Sport and if so, where can I get one? I like the beefier tubes and the finish as well over the one on the Sport and the Ltd. |

I have the 03 Sport and I got some UNI-Strut for my cross Bars . Sandblasted them and painted them to match ! I have installed bike clamps to them and I have no wind noise at all or whistling or howling . |

That Uni-strut seems like a pretty good idea. I was actually speaking of the main rails that are equipped on the vehicle though. You know, the ones that you would mount the Uni-stru to. Just check out the ones that are equipped on the Sport vs. the ones on a Renegade. You'll notice that the ones on the Renegade are much thicker and have a nicer finish. Yeah, I'm sure the dealer can help, but I was hoping that someone might know of a website where I might score some for less than what the dealer would rape me for. Eh well...if I have to go to the dealer, so be it. Thanx guys! |

Check out jparts.com, send them a note stating what part your looking for and they'll give you the list price for it and then you take 15% OFF of that. But check the Liberty parts listing first, they might already have the roof rails from a Renegade listed...hope that helps. |
